Margaret Bargmann, 98, Hannover, died January 6, 2019 at Elm Crest Manor, New Salem. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Monday, January 14, 2019 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Hannover, with Rev. Russell Fitch officiating.

Burial will be at Hannover Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Margaret Dorthea Anna Henke was born October 29, 1920 in Hannover, the daughter of William F. and Lena (Kemmesat) Henke.

Raised and educated in the Hannover area, she married William Bargmann at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church on October 5, 1941. They had a dairy farm in the Hannover area for many years. Margaret enjoyed embroidery, reading, listening to gospel music, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She had been a resident at Elm Crest Manor in New Salem since October 2009. Margaret was a lifelong member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church of Hannover. Margaret is survived by three sons, Herbert (Phyllis) Bargmann, Bismarck, Delbert (Audrey) Bargmann, Hannover, and Robert (Pamela) Bargmann, Hannover; two daughters, Henrietta (Howard) Yeager, Center and Loretta (Wayne) Beckman, Hannover; 11 grandchildren, Lynn Bargmann, TX, Lance (Heather) Bargmann, Bismarck, Cordell (Ann Marie) Yeager, CO, Troy (Janelle) Bargmann, Dickinson, Michelle (Nathan) Kupfer, Bismarck, Michael (Trisha) Beckman, Hannover, Justin (Becky) Bargmann, Mandan, Briana (Lee) Scheid, Hazen, Cody (Ashley) Bargmann, Haley (Ryan) Bohmbach, and Sandy (Kelsey Abraham) Bargmann, all of Hannover, 20 great-grandchildren, Andrew and Allison Bargmann, Nicholas and Lucas Kupfer, Ellie, Anna, Jack, Garett, Stetson, Calli, Ryker, Scarlett, and Rowdy Bargmann, Kade and Colt Scheid, Lily Beckman, and William, Wyett, Westin, and Whitney Bohmbach; one sister, Erna Seifert, MN; one sister-in-law, Selma Henke, Richardton; and many nieces and nephews.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, William, in 2003; her parents; one son, Gilbert; six brothers, William, Helmuth, Christ, Johnny, Albert, and Dick; one sister, Martha (John) Baier; and brother-in-law, Loren Seifert.
