Margaret M. (Bradley) Schmitt, age 92, of Beatty Point, formerly of Murrysville, passed away on May 13, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Francis August Schmitt. Loving mother of Daniel (Eileen) Schmitt, Dennis (Dawnlyn) Schmitt, and David (Sue Ann) Schmitt.

Proud grandmother of Joshua (Lisa) Schmitt, Justin Schmitt, Jordan Schmitt, Jenna Schmitt, and Jamie (Michael) McCormick; step-grandmother of Cruz Cuifo; great-grandmother of Brooklyn and Bennet Schmitt. Also survived by her brother, Daniel Bradley; and many nieces and nephews. Margaret attended Seton Hill College where she graduated cum laude.

She worked as a history teacher in Plum at St. John’s, and went on to teach at O’Block Junior High where she was the civics teacher up until her retirement. She was an active parish council member at Our Lady of Joy and a former member of Alcoma County Club where she enjoyed spending time on the greens. Preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Catherine (Dalton) Bradley; daughters, Cassie and Debbie Schmitt; and siblings, William, Kathleen, John Leonard, and Paul Bradley.

Friends will be received Thursday, May 16th from 2-8 p.m. at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL) corner of Beatty Rd. & 48 North, Monroeville (412-856-4747).

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, May 17th at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Joy Parish. Interment to follow at Good Shepherd Cemetery. www.
