Margaret Dolhi, January 24, 1925 — September 09, 2018

Obituary for Margaret Dolhi Margaret R. Dolhi Age 93, of Cabot, formerly O’hara Township, died Sunday, September 9, 2018. She was born January 24, 1925 in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Joseph and Sarah Farbacher Vogel. Margaret was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was a member of St Pio Parish/St. Edward Church in Blawnox and was active in many community activities. She was an avid card player, loved games, enjoyed gardening and music, and played the piano, keyboard, and guitar. Participation in the Montrose Hill Association annual Halloween parade was the highlight of her year.

She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren for her holiday scavenger hunts where she took delight in hiding things in challenging places much to their amusement and frustration. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, George F. Dolhi, in February, 2017; and by brothers, Joseph Vogel and J. Weyman Vogel. She is survived by two sons, David G. Dolhi and his wife Barbara, of Butler, and Donald J. Dolhi and his wife, Jacqueline, of Harrison City.

Also survived by 5 grandsons; and 6 great-grandchildren; a brother, Arthur Vogel and his wife Jane of O’hara Township; sisters-in-law, Alice Vogel and Mary Dolhi, both of O’hara Township; and many nieces and nephews. Honoring Margaret’s wishes, there will be no viewing. The family would like to thank the staff at Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia in Cabot for their compassionate and loving care of Margaret.
