Margaret’s Obituary Margaret M. Dougherty Margaret M. Dougherty, 100, Girardville, passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning at Providence Place, Pottsville. Born in Connerton, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Hazel Kohler Franks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Edward T. Dougherty; brothers and sisters.

Margaret is survived by her two daughters: Anne Lorady, Girardville, Pegi and her husband David Culbreth, Colorado; her two sons: Dennis and his wife Judy Dougherty, Bethlehem, William and his wife Theresa Dougherty, Colorado; her brother Leo Franks; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made, in Margaret’s name, to the Ashland Free Public Library at 1229 Centre Street Ashland, PA 17921.
