Margaret E. (Rhodes) Edgell, age 57, of Elwood, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at her residence. Margaret was born on April 24, 1961, in Indianapolis, IN to the late Richard and Marifrances (Branner) Rhodes. She graduated in 1980 from Madison Heights High School.

On July 11, 2000 she married Steve Edgell who passed away on July 15, 2014. Margaret retired in 2018, as from ELSA Corp. in Elwood after 20 years of service.

She enjoyed the outdoors, tending to her flowers and working in her yard. She loved to ride motorcycles with her husband and with the Jazzy Brothers. Margaret is survived by her son, Ryan (Carrie Miller) Rhodes of Franklin, NC, three daughters, Christina Idlewine of Fishers, IN, Erica (Rick) Hauser of Anderson, and Maygan Aynes of Anderson, grandchildren; Blake Riggins & Samantha Idlewine, Sister, Sue (Jay) Shepard, several beloved friends Margaret was preceded in death by her Father, Richard Rhodes, Mother, Marifrances Rhodes, Husband, Steve Edgell.

Funeral service celebrating Margaret’s life will be at 11:00 am Friday, December 14, 2018 at Dunnichay Funeral Home, in Elwood. Burial will follow in the Elwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, December 13, 2018, from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson Street, Elwood, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Foundation Disabled Vets of America and Toys for Tots. Online condolences can be given at www.
