Obituary for Margaret Jarrell (Collins) Margaret Elizabeth Jarrell, 72 of Minden passed away, Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Raleigh General Hospital. Margaret was born on October 19, 1945 in Montgomery to the late Francis and Mable Rogers Collins. Margaret was a former employee in the hospitality industry and enjoyed gardening.
She was a member of Minden Baptist Church and a regular bible reader. In addition to her parents Margaret was preceded in death by brothers Francis Collins Daniel Lee Collins and sister, Marna Lou Bush. Those left to cherish her memory include husband Larry Jarrell, daughters Audrea Matthews and husband, Jonathan of Minden, Betty Jane Holbrook of Harpers Ferry; son Phillip James Bailey of Cleveland, OH; brothers William Collins of Oak Hill, Larry Collins of NC; sisters Mary Ellen Townsend of NV, Jody Sorrell of Fayetteville, and Doris ton of St. Albans,10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
In keeping with the family’s wishes Mrs. Jarrell will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations toward the family expenses may be made to High Lawn Funeral Home who is assisting the family with arrangements.
