On Saturday September 1, 2018, Margaret G. “Peggy” Cruikshank, 94, lifelong resident of Mount Lebanon. She graduated from Mount Lebanon High School in 1942 and attended Penn State University. She is survived by her sons Jeffrey G. and Ronald G. Cruikshank, and her niece Suzy Hopkins.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband George P., her parents Clarence F. and Ruth M. Gaylord, her sister Betty Hopkins and nephew Tom Hopkins. She was a lifelong member of Southminster Presbyterian Church, and a longtime member of St. Clair Country Club where she served on the pool committee and where she enjoyed her summers in the sun from her perch at the table in the corner. She maintained a winter residence in Ft.

Lauderdale, Florida where she also belonged to the Lago Mar Beach Club. She will be remembered for her beauty, grace, wit and kindness to everyone she encountered. Friends will be received at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes 222 Washington Road, Mt.

Lebanon at 10 a.m. on Thursday, September 6, 2018 with a funeral service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Internment, Mount Lebanon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Southminster Presbyterian Church, 799 Washington Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15228, or to The Bridge, a New York City social service agency providing behavioral health services and housing for people with serious mental illness, 290 Lenox Ave. , 3rd Floor, New York, NY 10027.
