Margaret “Peggy” M. Grugan, 75, of Philadelphia, PA (Grays Ferry) passed away peacefully on May 21, 2019. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she graduated from St. Gabriel’s School in Philadelphia, PA. She was the daughter of the late John F. Grugan and Isabella V. Grugan (nee Fillius).

Peggy was known for her friendly nature and love of life. She loved children, decorating for holidays and keeping her eyes and ears on the neighborhood she loved. She worked in child care and her spirituality was very important to her.

Peggy is survived by her niece, Maura (John) DiTrolio and nephews, Francis (Irene) Grugan, Patrick (Carol) Grugan, Michael Grugan and Daniel (Cathy) DiGrazio; as well as many loving cousins and friends from her neighborhood. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 11:00 AM, May 28, 2019, at St. Gabriel’s Church on 29th & Dickinson Sts, Philadelphia, Pa 19146, where friends may call from 9:30 to 10:45 am Tuesday at the church prior to mass. Interment following the mass at St. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Springfield, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the William Barrett’s Nabours Center, 2738 Dickinson St., Phila.
