Obituary for Margaret J Chandler Margaret Jane Chandler age 79, of Upper Sandusky died on Tues. Oct. 23, 2018 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.
She was born on Jan. 4, 1939 in Upper Sandusky to the late Arthur E. and Blanche M. (Best) Gottfried. She married H. Eugene Chandler on Aug.
18, 1957 in St. Paul Lutheran Church, Upper Sandusky, and he survives in Upper Sandusky. Mrs. Chandler is survived by a son Bruce E. Chandler, Upper Sandusky and a daughter Christine (Kenneth Huffman) Chandler, Hilliard, grandchildren Marissa, Kaitlin and Claire, siblings David (Barb) Gottfried, Upper Sandusky, Charles (Jean) Gottfried, Upper Sandusky, Beulah Bishop, Findlay, Arabel Frisch, Forest and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by siblings Florence Beidelschies, Lester Gottfried, Norman Gottfried, Russell Gottfried and Arlene Walton.
She graduated in 1957 from Salem High School. Mrs. Chandler was the head teller at First Citizens National Bank for 30 years. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, and served on the church council.
She served on the Wyandot Memorial Hospital Guild. A funeral service will be held Sat. Oct.
27, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Bringman Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Elaine Clinger Sturtz officiating. Interment will follow in Chandler Cemetery, Marseilles.
Visitation will be held Fri. Oct. 26, 2018 from 4-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
