Margaret Jeanne Westrick, 93, of Massillon, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, March 8, 2019. Born in Massillon, July 19, 1925, a daughter and the only child of the late Walter S. and Mary P. (Charlton) Diehl, Jeanne graduated from Washington High School with the Class of 1943. She had been a member of Grace United Church of Christ in Massillon and was employed for several years in the Dietary Department of the former Doctors Hospital.

Jeanne was devoted wife and a loving, caring mom, grandma and great-grandma to her entire family. She was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling – especially on bus trips with friends from the Massillon Senior Center and eagerly looked forward to any opportunity to go out to eat. She also held membership in the AARP Chapter 2205.

Preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Walter Westrick; Jeanne is survived by her daughter, Kay (Paul) Rodusky, of Massillon and son, William (Darlene) Westrick, of New Albany, Ohio. Also surviving are her grandson, Matthew Price, of Massillon; step-grandchildren, Bryan (Alicia) Cross and Jillian (Ben) Kalb, all of Columbus, Ohio and three step-great-grandchildren. There are no calling hours.

The funeral will be a chapel service conducted Thursday afternoon, March 14, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. in the mausoleum chapel at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Massillon. Rev. James Painting will officiate.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home in Massillon.
