OBITUARY Margaret M. Lindley January 24, 1917 – January 27, 2019 Play Tribute Movie Margaret Marie Lindley, 102, went to be with the Lord January 27, 2019. She was born January 24, 1917 in Wichita Falls, Texas to John and Maggie (Corbett) McGrath. She is survived by her sister Catherine Thomas; nieces, Juanita Grimmett, and Karole Thomas; nephews, Otaway Thomas (Pat), Gary Thomas, Richard Thomas (Dawn), and Herman Lindley (Carla); great-nephews Alan Thomas, Tim Lyons, and Mike Lyons; and great-niece Kathy Rose (Bill).

She is preceded in death by her husband, Herman Lindley. Margaret was an amazing lady. A discouraging word was never heard from her.

She was a devoted Catholic and belonged to the catholic daughters of Pecos, Texas. She went to nursing school in Fort Worth, Texas and later moved to El Paso, Texas where she worked at Southwestern General Hospital. After El Paso, she moved to Pecos, Texas where she met her husband Herman.

After their marriage, they moved to a ranch outside of Pecos, Texas. They ran that ranch for over 40 years and raised cattle and horses. She was a terrific cook and fed all of the ranch hands at round up time.

Special thanks to the Visiting Angels personnel that helped Margaret enjoy the final months of her life. Visitation: January 30, 2019 from 1pm-4pm with a rosary at 3pm at Martin Funeral Home East, 1460 George Dieter. Mass: January 31, 2019 at 11:15am at St. Raphael Parish, 2301 Zanzibar, 79925.

Interment: Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
