Margaret “Peggy” M Cunningham, 86 of Three Bridges, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 30 with her loving family by her side. Born in the New Market section of Piscataway, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Swanson) Murray. Peggy had a passion for bowling, having been involved in many leagues over the years.

She also owned and operated the Three Bridges General Store for 15 years before retiring in 1997. Her greatest joy came from her family, and in later years, that joy was passed on to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Besides her parents, Peggy was predeceased by her husband Anthony in 1997. She is survived by her 3 loving children: son Anthony, III of Three Bridges, son Richard and wife Diane of Three Bridges, and daughter Margaret Farrell and husband Tim of Three Bridges, as well as by her 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Friends may visit the family on Thursday October 4 from 4:00-8:00pm at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave, Dunellen.

A mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 5 at 9:30am at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church in Dunellen. Burial will follow at Brig. Gen.
