Margaret M. “Marge” Zachary, formerly of Lewiston, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018, in Elderwood at Grand Island. She was born in Century, WV on November 29, 1927, a daughter of the late Andrew and Cecilia (Tothpal) Nagy. Mrs. Zachary moved to Timmins, Ontario with her family and graduated from NFCVI in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

She was a telephone operator in Canada before moving to Niagara Falls, NY in 1948 where became a real estate agent with Polin Reality and later with the Landmark Agency for over 20 years, before retiring in 1980. She had lived in Sanborn for many years before moving to Lewiston. Mrs. Zachary enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling and bowling.

She married her husband in 1948, the late Henry J. Zachary, he passed away on April of 2008. Mrs. Zachary is survived by her children Brian (Michelle) Zachary and Charlotte (Larry Harris) Antonucci , five grandchildren Paul (Brandy Costa) and Thomas Antonucci, Laura Dimieri, Robert and Joseph Zachary,one great granddaughter Juliet Dimieri, a brother Raymond (late Margaret) Nagy and her cousin Magdalene Chanady, also many nieces and nephews. Her family will be present on Wednesday from 4-8 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY, where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 9:15 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 4671 Townline Road, Ransomville, NY, with the Rev.

James R. Bastian officiating. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Elderwood at Grand Island for their support and loving care for the past eight years. Memorials may be made in her name to the Lewiston #1 Fire Company.
