OBITUARY Margaret “Peggy” McCallister July 5, 1931 – December 9, 2018 Margaret “Peggy” Beaven McCallister was born in Morganfield, KY on July 7, 1931 to Warner and Ruby Beaven. She went home to the Lord Sunday, December 9, 2018 in Shreveport, LA. Peggy moved to Shreveport with Western Electric and retired in 1986.

She was an active member of the Marian Council Knights of Columbus Auxiliary. She enjoyed dressing in costume for birthday parties at a local nursing home. Preceding her in death are her husband, Austin McCallister; daughter, Janis Davis; and her parents.

Left to cherish her memory are sons, Michael and wife Charlene; David and wife Shelley; and Richard and wife Leslie; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held just prior to the Funeral Mass from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church with Mass at 11:00 A.M. Following the services at the church the internment will be held at Centuries Memorial Park. Father John Paul Crispin will be officiating the services.
