Margaret Rose “Jim” Pennah Dec 14, 1939 – May 6, 2019 Margaret was finally able to rest after battling her many health issues on Monday May 6th, 2019 at Toppenish Rehabilitation Center. Margaret was born December 14, 1939 to George Jim and Celia Umtuch. Being the eldest of 10 she was like a second mother to her siblings.

Margaret was a full blooded enrolled member of the Yakama Nation. Born, raised, and spending most of her adult life on the Yakama Nation Reservation she was know by a lot of people even being royalty at one time. Margaret married at a young age to Glenn Lopez.

They enjoyed time with family and also took her siblings to work in the berry fields where they were know as the Lopez kids. After Glenn’s passing she then had a career with the NARA program in Portland, OR where she made lasting friendships. She then met John Pennah who was from Oklahoma and they married and shared many years together.

Margaret was preceded in death by both parents George Jim, and Celia (Umtuch) Dick. All four brothers Harvey Jim, Reginald Jim, Daniel Jim, and Burton Dick. Stepdaddy Louis Dick Sr. Both husbands Glenn Lopez and John Pennah.

Two half sisters Rosanna Jim and Sandra Brooks. As well as infants and unborn siblings of George and Celia. Margaret was survived by her sisters Melissa James of Wapato, Maureena C.A. Manyfingers and Sarah Roman both of Toppenish, Doris (David) Ardito of Sahurita, AZ, Debra (John Sr.) Danielson of Lawrence, KS, and Rose (MIke) Seymour of Wapato.

She also had adopted brothers Gil Calac and Jerry McNew. Her and her husband also adopted Justin from Kraffs. She is also survived by all her (babies) Nieces, nephews, and grandbabies.

Dressing will be Wednesday May 8, 2019 at 10am at Heggie’s Colonial Funeral Home in Toppenish, WA then be taken to Satus Longhouse for overnight services then leaving the longhouse at 6am for burial at Umtuch Logie on Thursday May 9, 2019.
