Margaret R. Faulkner, of Magnolia, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, October 9, 2018, in her home. She was 80. Margaret was born September 19, 1938 in Dover, DE to the late Roy & Mamie (Melvin) Bodine.

She had worked for the Caesar Rodney School District for several years in the cafeteria at Allen Frear Elementary School in Dover before retiring. Margaret was very active with the Ladies of the Loyal Order of Moose, in Harrington for over 40 years. She loved all kinds of animals, especially cats; and enjoyed gardening and flowers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Samuel N. Faulkner, Jr.; and her twin sister, Doris DeLong. Margaret is survived by her husband of 63 years, Samuel Faulkner; 2 daughters, Brenda L. DeVeau & husband, Jay, of Magnolia and Mamie Appenzeller & husband, Don, of Cape Charles, Virginia; her grandson, Donny Appenzeller & Amy, of Cape Charles, VA. ; a great-grandson, Dustin Appenzeller; and twin great-granddaughters, Emma Margaret Appenzeller & Taylor Ann Appenzeller; brother, Gary Bodine, of Felton; and several nieces & nephews.

A viewing will be held from 6-8 pm, Monday, October 15, 2018 in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave. , Wyoming, DE; where Funeral Services will take place at 11am, on Tuesday, October 16, 2018. Burial will follow in Mount Olive Cemetery, Sandtown.
