Margaret’s Obituary Dodge City – Margaret Ramsay, 91, died March 10, 2019 at Manor of the Plains in Dodge City. She was born on November 9, 1927 at Wichita, Kansas the daughter of Horace and Maggie (Case) Gibson. She married Brice J. Ramsay on June 5, 1949 in Haysville, Kansas, he preceded her in death on March 30, 2010.

Mrs. Ramsay moved to Cimarron to work as an elementary teacher as a young lady. She later worked as the librarian for the Cimarron Library for 23 years before retiring. Mrs. Ramsay enjoyed working on craft projects and sewing in her spare time.

She was a member of the Cimarron United Methodist Church of Cimarron. She is survived by one son Doug Ramsay of Fargo, North Dakota; three daughters Linda Allen of Garden City; Diane Krayenhagen of Lawrence; Cheryl Gindlesberger of Ft. Smith, Arkansas.

She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a grandson Brad Gindlesberger, one sister Carol and one brother Hugh. Funeral service will be held at Cimarron United Methodist Church on Wednesday March 13, 2019 at 2:00 PM with Rev.

Mike Keating presiding. Burial will follow at Cimarron Cemetery in Cimarron. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel in Cimarron on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Memorials are suggested to Cimarron United Methodist Church in care of the funeral home.
