OBITUARY Margaret Sue Moore Kunschik October 19, 1924 – December 28, 2018 Margaret Sue Moore Kunschik, age 94, was called to her eternal resting place on December 28, 2018. Margaret was born to G.W. and Gertrude Moore on October 19, 1924 in Ganada, Texas. She graduated from Lohn High School and moved to Austin, Texas, to take classes at UT and begin a 50+ year career working in physician’s offices.

It was in Austin that she met and married Arndell ‘Robert’ Kunschik and raised her two sons, Jerry and Ronald (Jimmy). She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, son Jimmy, brother Kenoth Moore and sister Allene Haywood. She is survived by her son Jerry (Nancy) of Austin, granddaughter Keri Clark (Andrew) of Hutto and grandson Kevin Kunschik of Taylor.

She is also survived by beloved great-grandchildren Kinley and Jacob Clark, brother Stanley Moore (Maurine) of Brady, sisters Laveta Curry and Wynette Russell (Don) of Gatesville as well as many nieces and nephews. Margaret lead her life to the fullest and was only recently slowed by illness. She steadfastly let everyone around know that she could take care of her self as demonstrated by living independently past the age of 93.

She, along with members of her family and many friends, often spent weekends at the family cabin on Lake Travis where everyone was always welcome. Later in life, she began a 13-year career as a volunteer at Austin Heart Hospital and was a recipient of their Humanitarian award. The family wishes to thank staff at Austin Heart Hospital, Parsons House and Austin Buckner Villas.

She left this life with a smile on her face and a glow in the hearts of those who loved her. A visitation will be held between 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. A celebration of Margaret’s life will follow at 1:00 p.m. with committal at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.

A gathering for fellowship and refreshments will follow at the funeral home. FAMILY She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, son Jimmy, brother Kenoth Moore and sister Allene Haywood. She is survived by her son Jerry (Nancy) of Austin, granddaughter Keri Clark (Andrew) of Hutto and grandson Kevin Kunschik of Taylor.

She is also survived by beloved great-grandchildren Kinley and Jacob Clark, brother Stanley Moore (Maurine) of Brady, sisters Laveta Curry and Wynette Russell (Don) of Gatesville as well as many nieces and nephews.
