Bloomfield: Margaret (McNally) Murphy, age 66, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2019 surrounded by her family. Meg was born on Staten Island, NY October 9, 1952 to Barbara M. (Lotz) and James Patrick McNally. She was a graduate of Saint Joseph Hill Academy in 1970 and from SUNY Plattsburgh in 1974, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

She practiced nursing for her entire career until her retirement in 2018. Meg married the love of her life, Timothy Murphy on June 4, 1983 in Kennebunkport, ME. She was a long-standing supporter of the Bloomfield High School drama program.

She enjoyed researching family history, traveling the world with her husband, and was an avid reader. She is survived her husband Tim Murphy of Bloomfield; daughters, Caitlin (James) Danberg of Arlington, VA and Brenna Murphy (Dennis May) of Clinton, NY; her mother, Barbara McNally of Manahawkin, NJ; her siblings, Kathleen (Thomas) Cotter of Southport, NC, James P. (Evelyn) McNally, Jr. of Little Egg Harbor, NJ and Ann McNally of Brick, NJ. She was predeceased by her father, James P. McNally, in 2005.

Meg’s Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 22, 2019 at 12 pm (Noon) at St. Bridget’s Church, 15 Church St., Bloomfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Meg’s name may be made to the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester or to Lollypop Farm of Fairport. Condolences may be offered at www.
