Margery’s Obituary Margery L. “Marge” Stark, of Canton, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, passed away Monday afternoon, at her home, Crystal Creek Assisted Living. She was 98. Marge was born April 5, 1921, in Jackson, MI, to the late James and Lois (Campbell) Nixon.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husbands, Robert Stark in 1983, and Harry Downs in 2002; a son, Robert (Carol) Stark in 1988; and siblings, Martha Neville, Virginia Caulkins and Buster Nixon. Surviving are devoted sons, David (Marilyn) and Michael (Denise) Stark; a brother, Larry Nixon; grandchildren, Kenneth (Susan) Stark, Timothy (Angela) Stark, Nicole (Nicholas) McLaughlin, Robert (Kellie) Stark, Crystal (George) Debrincat and Gail (Jeff) Tofil; and numerous great-grandchildren. The Stark family will receive guests at the funeral home on Friday, May 10th, from 2-8 pm.

Marge’s funeral ceremony is planned for Saturday morning, May 11th, at 10:00 am, also at Heeney-Sundquist. The Reverend Dr. Steven Schafer will preside. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Park, Livonia.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Mt. Hope Congregational Church, Livonia. Kindly keep Margery and her family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
