Margie D. Wood Age 80, of Canton, passed away Thursday Dec. 6, 2018. She was born June 4, 1938 in Strasburg, a daughter of the late William and Vesta (Pendland) Bixler, and had been a Canton resident 40 years, previously residing in East Sparta, Strasburg, and New Port Ritchie, FL.

While in high school in New Port Ritchie she was a majorette. Margie sang in bands in Florida and Ohio. She is survived by her husband, Larry R. Wood, with whom she celebrated their 37th Wedding Anniversary on March 6th; two sons, Randall (Kimberly Krajewski) Flynn and Daryl (Debbie) Curry; two step-daughters, Lori Stevens and Stephanie (Doug) Anderson; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Nancy Bixler and Carol Ittel.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday at 3 p.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Pastor Roger Warnes officiating. There are no calling hours. Interment will be in Bisel Church Cemetery.
