Margie “Care Bear” Jean King, 67 Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Margie “Care Bear” Jean King, 67, of Pinehurst, Idaho, peacefully passed away on December 4, 2018 in her home surrounded by love. She was born on November 14, 1951 in Spokane, Washington; the daughter of Leland and Sonia (Anderson) Domstad. Margie attended San Rafael High School in San Rafael, California.

In 1986, she moved and settled into the Silver Valley and which became her new home. In 1995, she married her partner, James King in Wallace, Idaho and enjoyed over 30 wonderful years with him until the time of his passing in 2017. Margie was a giver and a nurturer.

She devoted her life to her family and was a wonderful wife and mother. She also spent over 10 years providing child care to other families. Margie was a creative woman who possessed many talents and hobbies.

She loved to garden and cook. When it came to baking, she was very well known within her family for her Famous Christmas Cookies, always made straight from the heart without a recipe book in sight. She was fond of coloring and enjoyed a challenging crossword puzzle.

Margie loved animals, especially her beloved dog Mork. Margie was also incredibly crafty. She enjoyed making icosahedrons out of various materials, staining glass, and had a special affinity for anything with butterflies.

Margie is survived by her three daughters, Tanya (Ken) Jensen of St. Maries, Idaho, Stacy Marang of Kellogg, Idaho, and Kelly Marang of Pinehurst, Idaho; three sisters, Sally (Gary) Ross of South Dakota, Delores Sahlin of California, and Peggy (Mike) Katrinchak of Colorado; one brother, Melvin (Vicky) Domstad of South Dakota; her sister-in-law, Nancy Larson; close family members, Anjela, Kari, Jaci, Brian and James; eight grandchildren in Idaho and four grandchildren in South Carolina; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as her loving pet and companion, Mork. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, Leland and Sonia; her sister, Susan Brown; and her husband, James. The family will hold a private Celebration of Life at a later date.
