NORTH—Margie McClure North passed away on September 10, 2018. She was born in Dade City, Florida on Aril 29, 1926, the first child of Ivie Ellis McClure and Lemma Parker McClure. She was educated in Pasco County schools and graduated from Pasco High School.

She married Wilbur Harry North on February 7, 1947. She and her husband moved to Jacksonville in 1956. She was employed for man years as the secretary to the commanding officer at the Naval Hospital at NAS.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur, her brother, Dr. Edward McClure; her son-in-law, Dr. Harvey Adkins. She is survived by her daughters: Donna (Dr. Larry) Parrish and Gail Adkins; her grandchildren: Brent Parrish (Dana), Christopher Adkins, Emily Adkins, Todd Parrish (Holly) and four great- grandchildren: Jackson, Grayce, Carter and Laura. Memorials in her memory may be given to Community Hospice, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257, Shriners Children’s Hospital, 2900 N. Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607 or the charity of your choice.
