Obituary for Mrs. Margot Sjodin Margot (Nispel) Sjodin, age 89 of Coon Rapids, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2018. Born in Germany, Margot came to America in the early 1950’s as the bride of Harry Lucas, Moore, Montana with whom she had three children. She loved animals especially Spitz dogs and was passionate about gardening.

Margo cared about military veterans and it was fitting that she died on Memorial Day 2018 also the anniversary of her mother’s death in 1994. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Lucas, her sister Elli Nispel and her parents, Wilhelm and Emilie Nispel. She will be missed by her children, DonLucas (Mary Docken) and Carol Lucas, and many friends and relatives in Germany.

At her request, there will be no memorial service.
