Margot Zeitler LeJuene August 31, 1932 – December 21, 2018 Share this obituary Local Florists Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Margot Zeitler LeJeune, 86, entered into eternal peace on Friday morning, December 21, 2018 surrounded by her family. Margot was born on August 31,1932 in Fϋrth, Germany, a daughter of the late Johann Andreas Zeitler and Else Margarete Zeitler. She was a homemaker and was married to the late Leo J. LeJeune on December 1, 1951.

Margot resided in Port Allen until 1975 and resided in Brusly, LA thereafter. Margot was a very kind and gentle soul. She had a loving and generous heart, and was always giving to others.

She was an avid reader, baker, gardener and loved animals. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Leo J. LeJeune, 1993; her parents, Andreas and Margarete Zeitler; and her brother Leo Zeitler. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her children Sandra LeJeune Doss and life partner, Johnny Woolam; Rosemarie LeJeune; Leo J. LeJeune, Jr. and Andrea LeJeune Hunt and husband Marion Hunt, Jr.; loving brother, Douglas Zeitler and wife Merijoyce and her nieces and nephew, Jennifer, Jessica, Alexander and Michael.

Margot’s adoring grandchildren include, Stephanie David Bolds; Chad David and wife Maria; Amy Doss; Brandon Joseph Lynch and wife Nikki; Jessica Margot Pitts and husband, Jay; Joshua B. LeJeune; Jeremy LeJeune and wife Stephanie; Jaylee LeJeune; Brittney Herrick Didier and husband Zach; and Jansen M. Herrick. Additionally, Margot leaves behind numerous great grandchildren and many relatives of the LeJeune family. A special thanks to the Herrick family including Roger and wife, Janet; Christy Fontenot Rodrigue and Donald Fontenot, Jr.; and the Hunt and Doss families for their continued love and concern for Margot throughout the years.

Services will be held Wednesday, December 26th from 9 a.m. -11:00 a.m. at the Wilbert Funeral Home, at 24120 Railroad Avenue, Plaquemine, LA, with service to immediately follow officiated by Margot’s grandson, Pastor Brandon Lynch. Interment will follow the service at Grace Memorial in Plaquemine, LA.
