SCOTT, Marguerite “Scottie” (aka: Rita Moon), age 80, of Dayton, born March 21, 1938, earned her heavenly wings July 9, 2018 at home surrounded by family. Preceded in death by grandparents, Askew and Brillie McGhee; parents, James Sr. and Pearlene Moon; sisters, Constance “Cosie” Lewis, Florence Plowden; granddaughter, LaKeisha Scott. She leaves to cherish her precious memories: children, Myron Moon, Brillie, Don and Mildred Scott; brothers, James “JrMoon” of Dayton, Marvin Moon of San Diego, CA; special cousin, Earl Winston Jr.; 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service 1 pm Monday, July 16, 2018 at New Life Community Church, 17 Whitmore Ave. Visitation 10 am-1 pm. Family will receive friends 12-1 pm.

Interment Woodland Cemetery.
