She was born on July 10, 2018, in San Antonio, Texas. Maria is preceded in death by her brother Hector T. Florez.

Maria is survived by her parents father Hector Florez and mother Eva T. Florez; husband Jaime Rodriguez; and her son Christopher Isaiah F. Rodriguez. Maria was a very dedicated woman, she was especially dedicated to her husband of 24 years and to her family. She loved animals and she loved to go shopping.

She loved and cherished her last dog that was a chihuahua Dulce. She loved to travel to the small little country towns, and go looking for antiques. She loved being a mother and she loved her son Christopher very much.

Maria was a good cook, and she loved cooking for her parents, for birthdays, and for holidays. This time of the year, Christmas, was her favorite time of the year to be with family and friends. She also took a great liking to the Peanuts Characters, like Charlie Brown.

Maria will be greatly missed, and her loving memory will be always remembered by her family. Come and join the family of Maria De Jesus Florez as we come together and celebrate a wonderful wife, mother, and daughter and pay tribute. Services are as follows: Thursday – December 27, 2018 – 4pm -9pm at Texas Funeral Home Chapel, 2702 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237, with a rosary to be recited at 7 pm.

Friday – December 28, 2018 – 10 am Cemetery services – San Jose Burial Park, 8235 Mission Rd. , San Antonio, TX 78214 Family and Friends will meet at the cemetery December 28, 2018 for burial services.
