Chela, como fue conocida, nacio el dia 13 de agosto 1963 en Progreso, Piaxtla, Puebla, Mexico a sus padres, Roman Cariño y Ricarda Garcia. Ella fue la cuarta nacida de nueve hijos.

El 5 de julio 1986, se caso con Felipe Rodiles, que la sobrevive. Juntos tuvieron tres hijos. Fue una amada esposa, madre, y abuelita.

Ella se dedico a disfrutar la vida en una manera simple junto a su familia y amistades, explorando lugares nuevos, comidas exoticas, y ser el alma de la fiesta. Ella disfruto la musica, el baile, y viajar. Chela tuvo la abilidad de tocar corazones de una forma profunda y positiva.

Ella es sobrevivida por su esposo, Felipe Rodiles, sus hijos, Adriana, Edgar, y Elizabeth, sus nietos, Joshuah y Jalen, sus padres, Roman Cariño y Ricarda Garcia, sus hermanos, Humberto, Rigoberto, Norberto, Juana, Sigfrido, Leticia, Roman, y Jose, sus cuñados, cuñadas, y sobrinos. Su familia toma tributo en decir que “Chela fue una mujer llena de alegria y fortaleza. Una verdadera guerrera”.
