A lifelong resident of Albuquerque, she passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 25, 2018. Maria enjoyed embroidering and going to the casino.

She loved her grandchildren and spending time with her treasured family. Maria was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Ana Mae and by her daughter, Angelina Martinez. Marie is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Jose “Ralph” Martinez of Albuquerque; daughter, Maxine Martinez of Albuquerque; five grandchildren, Juan, Alex, Vanessa, Cassandra and Ana; three great grandchildren, Jonathon, Michael and Angelica; three sisters, Louisa Gonzales and husband Victor of Tijeras, Jane Contreras and husband Miguel of Albuquerque, Bernadette Johnson and husband Dale of Bishop, CA.

; brother, Adelaido Quintana and wife Alveria of Moriarty; as well as many other family members and friends who loved and will miss her greatly. Services will be held at Holy Child Parish in Tijeras.
