Maria E. Altamira age 101 and a resident of Denison Texas was born October 19, 1917 and entered into eternal life May 3, 2019. Marie loved spending time tending to her garden especially her roses. She was a self-taught and avid crocheter.

She had a strong faith in God and was known for being a servant to others. She is preceded in death by her husband Jose Cruz Altamira and her son Aldaberto Altamira. Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her sons Ricardo Altamira of Holland Mich.

Arturo Altamira of Hart Mich. Juan Altamira of Edinburg Tx and Jose Cruz Jr. of Holland Mich; her daughters Ester Martinez of Buckholts Tx, Olivia Reyes of Honey Grove Tx, Mary Lou Dominguez of Temple Tx, Lupe Morales of Denison Tx, Luisa Altamira of Denison Tx, Rosa Banda at Denison Tx, Irene Mathews of Denison Tx and Elida Shelton of Argyle Tx and numerous grand and great grandchildren.
