Maria Rodriguez, 82, a lifetime resident of Mercedes Texas went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, May 30, 2019. She was born August 20, 1936 to Esteban and Leonor Ibarra Gonzalez in El Zacatal, Texas(LaFeria,Texas). She is survived by her loving family: Velma Bocanegra, Ricardo(Irma)Rodriguez, Martin Rodriguez, Claricia Rodriguez, Esteban Rodriguez, Pilar Juan Rodriguez, Dora Celia Rodriguez, Erasmo January, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and son; Jose Angel Rodriguez. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 1:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. with a 7:00p.m. service. She will forever be remembered for her love and passion for gardening, her pride in her roses and always being surrounded by her loving family.

Maria was a loving daughter, sister, daughter, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is and will forever be loved and missed by her family and friends. In respect to Marias wishes this concludes all funeral services.
