Marian L Wallace Thomas , April 05, 1924 — November 29, 2018

Of North Braddock, age 94, went peacefully into the arms of her Lord on November 29, 2018. Born April 5, 1924, Marian was the daughter of Garrett “Pete” Wallace and Theresa Wallace Ritchey. Marian spend her youth in Greensburg, Pa and her married adult life in the Braddock and North Braddock community, working in retail management at Ronnie’s, Jack and Jill, and J.C. Penney, where she developed life long friendships and memories from the good old days.

She was a long time member, attendee, and Sunday School teacher at the Muhleman Methodist Church in North Braddock and, later in life, was a deeply involved member and caregiver at the Faith Bible Baptist Church of Wilkins Township. Marian is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Daniel F. Thomas, son Terry C. Thomas and is survived by her son, Daniel C. Thomas, of Utah, and his family. She will be fondly remembered for her outgoing personality, her sense of humor and caring nature.

She will be missed here on Earth, but joyfully welcomed into the Kingdom by those who have gone on before her. We are thankful for the excellent care provided to my mother by the kind and gentle staff at Monroeville Rehab and Wellness, Golden Living Center and the hospice staff at Asera Care. You have all been wonderfully caring and we greatly appreciate all that you have done.

There will not be a visitation. Friends are welcome to her Graveside Service at Braddock Cemetery, Locust St., North Braddock on Monday at 12 noon Arrangements with Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., , East Pittsburgh (412-824-8800).
