Obituary for Marianne Shenkel Marianne Shenkel, age 65, of Cleveland, passed away September 29, 2018. She was born in Cleveland, on July 11, 1953, to the late Michael and Mary Goldasich. Through the years, Marianne was a devout Catholic and dedicated Matriarch to her family.

Her compassion and loyalty to her family and friends really set her apart. She was a proud and loving wife, mother, grammie, sister, aunt and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Marianne is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 47 years, James Shenkel, children Jason (Tracy) Shenkel, Monica (Nick O’Connor) Shenkel, Amanda Shenkel, Daniel (Tracey) Shenkel and James Shenkel, grandchildren Jason, Avrie, Nathan, Ryan, Luca, Dana and Dillon, siblings Janice Mooney and Michael Goldasich, niece Jeannine Mooney and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law, Richard Mooney and nephew Scott Mooney. Memorial Visitation will be on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 3 to 8pm at the Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd. , Eastlake.
