Marie’s Obituary Marie Barbara Kanuck, age 82, passed away on April 20, 2019 in Arcadia, FL. She was born on April 17, 1937 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Stanislaus and Marianna Bys Nowaczyk. Marie moved to Port Charlotte in 1972 from Philadelphia, PA, where she remained.

Marie enjoyed life, church, going to the beach and shopping. Marie was a member of Freedom Bible Church in Port Charlotte. She was a very active member and enjoyed attending many church functions.

Those who knew and loved her knew she was a kind, giving and gentle woman. She is survived by four children; two sons Nicholas (Michele) Kanuck of Levittown, PA and Steven ( Patty) Kanuck of Port Charlotte, FL, two daughters Barbara (James) Mee of Bensalem, PA and Marianne B. (Tommy) White of Punta Gorda, FL; nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son Thomas Kanuck.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 10:00am at Freedom Bible Church, 500 Sable Street, Port Charlotte, FL In lieu of flowers the family ask you to make a donation in Marie’s name to Freedom Bible Church.
