Marie Centra Beloved Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, 86 Mrs. Marie (nee Paul) Centra, 86, of Livingston, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 12, 2019 at St. Barnabas, Livingston surrounded by her family. Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Wednesday, May 15 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Philomena Church, 386 S Livingston Ave. , Livingston on Thursday, May 16 at 9:15am.

The entombment will be at Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum, East Hanover. Mrs. Centra was born in Newark and has resided in Livingston for over 50 years. She was employed by her brother at Paul’s Home Furnishings, Newark before retiring.

She is survived by her devoted children Joseph M. Centra Jr. and his wife Robin and Karen Centra; her loving brother Dominick Paul; her sister Phyllis De Gennaro; her cherished grandchildren Joseph M. Centra III and his wife Megan, Danielle Zumpetta and her husband Thomas, Gabrielle Centra-Taylor and her wife Alysha; and her precious great-grandchildren Ava, Jameson, Pierson, Amelia, Adeline. She is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews Mrs. Centra is predeceased by her husband Joseph M. Centra Sr. (2016) and her parents Alfred Paul and Mildred (nee Chiarieri) Paul. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept.
