Marie E. Fricke 86 of St. Petersburg passed away January 3, 2019 at home surrounded by her children. She is predeceased by her husband, Arnold T. Fricke, and survived by children Beth Rosenbluth (Jim), Belinda Wharton (Joe), Mike (Arlene) and Mark (Paula); six grandchildren Jay, Alex and Eric Rosenbluth; Jessica Wharton (Kevin Prince), Nicholas Wharton (Crystal); Breanna (Danny) Gregory and great grandson Chase Prince. Our beloved Oma greatly loved her family.

She was an independent and very kind-hearted women who enjoyed traveling the world. A visitation will be held Monday, January 7, 2019 from 5-7 pm at David C. Gross Funeral Home, 6366 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 1 PM Tuesday, January 8 at the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle (Our Lady’s Chapel), 5815 5th Avenue North, St. Petersburg, with a reception following at the church.

The family will also receive friends Tuesday evening from 7-9 PM at the home of Beth and Jim Rosenbluth. Donations in memory would be appreciated to the St. Petersburg Free Clinic, 863 3rd Avenue North, St. Petersburg FL 33701, or stpetersburgfreeclinic.org David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Central Avenue Chapel in St. Petersburg is serving the family.
