Marie Ellen Stewart-Mueller, age 53, of Hillsboro, IL passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 17, 2018, at 12:00 noon at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home, Hillsboro IL, with Rev. James Bailie, pastor of Schram City Baptist Church, Schram City IL, officiating.

. Burial will be in Wares Grove Cemetery, rural Butler IL. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 17, 2018 from 10:00 to 12:00 noon prior to service at the funeral home.

. Marie was born on January 25, 1965 to the late Vester Stewart, Sr. and Ellen Maxine (Mutchler) Stewart. She attended Hillsboro High School and had worked in the laundry department at the nursing home.

Most of her life, she lived in the Hillsboro IL area. She enjoyed working in the yard, rock garden, collecting wind chimes and teddy bears. She married Paul Mueller on September 9, 2011 at Hillsboro IL and he survives at Hillsboro.

Also surviving are children, Anthony L. Stewart, Hope N. Stewart, both of Hillsboro, IL; Nathan A. Mueller, Greenville IL, Genevieve K. Mueller, Hillsboro IL; two grandchildren, Uriel and Isabella Antemate; two brothers, Vester “Jack” (wife Amy) Stewart, Jr., TX, Richard L. (wife Margaret) Stewart, Hillsboro IL and one sister, Shelly (husband Mark) Woolard, Witt IL. Memorials are suggested to the family.
