Marie T. Staats, 87, of Quakertown formerly of Doylestown and New Smyrna Beach, Florida, died May 1, 2019 in Phoebe Richland Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late Harold A. Staats. She was born in Drexel Hill, Delaware County.

Marie was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Doylestown and Our Lady of the Sea in New Smyrna, Florida. She volunteered for many church activities and also the Republican Party Committee.

She is survived by two sons Craig (Robin) of Quakertown, Kurt (Leslie) of North East, Maryland, and a daughter Kathleen Accardi of Ewing, New Jersey. Six grandchildren. Predeceased by a daughter Suzanne Staats, and a son in law Andrew Accardi.

A Mass will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are in the care of the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www. crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951.
