Marie Theresa (Gares) Santillo, 84, of Dover, DE (formerly of Norristown, PA) passed away on April 23, 2018 at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. Mrs. Santillo was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, baking, bird watching and spending time with her family. Mrs. Santillo was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald F. Santillo, who died in August of 2009.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah M. (Santillo) Mace and her husband Sean of Dover; her son, Ronald A. Santillo and his wife Michelle of Dover; her sister, Eleanor “Tiny” Schommer and her husband Earl of Roxborough, PA; her grandchildren: Kyle and Andrew Mace of Dover, Becky (Santillo) Fritz and her husband Jeffrey of Norristown, PA and Justin Santillo and his wife Kimberly of Lakeland, FL; great grandchildren: Jeanine and Christina Fritz of Norristown, PA and Adelynne Rose Santillo of Lakeland, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Noon Friday, April 27, 2018 at Church of the Holy Cross, 631 S. State Street, Dover, DE 19901. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Mrs. Santillo’s name to Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963. Online condolences may be made via www. pippinfuneralhome.com.
