Obituary of Marie Gentile Marie Gentile, age 88, of Tappan died Sunday, June 17, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. Marie was born March 2, 1930 in New York, NY. She is the daughter of the late Salvatore and the late Emilia (Petito) Schiavo.

She married Gennaro Gentile Febuary 27 1947. She was predeceased by her husband, Gennaro in 2009. She is survived by three daughters: Emily (Isreal) Vargas , Susan (Ronald) Ruberti and Ann Marie (Jason) Trucchi, and two sons: James (Phyllis) Gentile and Anthony Gentile,; ; She also has thirteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; .

Predeceased by her son, Salvatore Gentile A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Thursday, June 21 at Our Lady Of The Sacred Heart Church, 120 Kings Highway, Tappan, NY . Burial will follow at Gate Of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne NY. Calling hours will be Tuesday, June 19 from 5 to 7pm and Wednesday, June 20 from 2 to 4 pm & 7 to 9 pm at Joseph W. Sorce F.H. Inc., 728 West Nyack Rd.
