Obituary for Marilyn A. Brown Marilyn A. “Ma” Brown, age 80, of Alliance, passed away at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Altercare of Alliance. She was born March 13, 1937 in Alliance, Ohio to Cecil and Mildred (Shelly) Garrison. A graduate of Alliance High School, Marilyn worked at the former G. C. Murphy Company, Kings Department Store and Value City.

She was a Steelers Fan, who also enjoyed NASCAR, traveling and bingo. Marilyn had a great love for her family. Survivors include her daughter, Debra Boyd; grandson, Brent Boyd; great-granddaughter, Adelle Clair Boyd; sister, Pat Lower, brother, Thomas Garrison; niece, Bobbi Jo Lower; and great-nephew, Tyler Summers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Henry Brown. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 Noon Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Walton Schrader Funeral Home with Rev. Barritt W. Durbin officiating.
