Marilyn Ann Brockmann November 20, 1934 – January 03, 2019 Share this obituary Local Florists View/Sign Guest Book| Send Sympathy Card Marilyn Ann Brockmann (nee Leibrecht), Thursday, January 3, 2019, a loving mother of four children, passed away peacefully at the age of 84. Marilyn, was born in St. Louis, MO, on November 20, 1934 to John and Ellen Leibrecht, married John Brockmann in 1952. They raised their children in the St. Louis area.

Marilyn spent life in service of others as a volunteer for the church and area hospitals. She also found fulfillment as a confidante and advisor to countless friends and family, investing significant time helping with charitable causes. Marilyn was an avid traveler, frequently sightseeing both internationally and locally.

She particularly enjoyed European travel as well as day-trips with her friends. Marilyn will be remembered for her infectious smile, strong Catholic faith and her willingness to lend a hand to those in need. Marilyn is preceded in death by her father, John and mother, Ellen Leibrecht.

She is survived by her four children: Ellen O’Neal, John Michael Brockmann, Kathleen Kehoe and Kevin Brockmann, also her three brothers: The Most Rev. John J. Leibrecht, Rev. Robert G. Leibrecht and James Leibrecht, and sister-in-law, Sandra Leibrecht, and nephew, Justin Leibrecht, and by 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services: Funeral Mass will be held Monday, January 7, 2019, 11:00 a.m. at All Souls Parish in Overland, MO. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Donations may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society.
