Marilyn M. (McCaffrey) Bonneau, 67, formerly of Tremont St., Springfield, passed away on May 13, 2019 at UMass Medical Center, Worcester. Born in Springfield to the late James and Marjorie (Cade) McCaffrey, she was a lifelong Springfield resident. Marilyn was a hostess for 8 years at the Olive Garden restaurant on Boston Road in Springfield.
She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #148 in Springfield. She was an avid watcher of “The Walking Dead” since the inception of the series. Always happy and outgoing, Marilyn could strike up a conversation with anyone and was loved by so many people.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Emile “Butch” Bonneau and her daughter Jennifer Ann McCaffrey who passed away in 2012. She leaves her daughter Sara Sirard and her fiancé Arnie Goulette of Shrewsbury; her brother James McCaffrey and wife Ann of Springfield; her brother Michael McCaffrey and wife Dolly of Chicopee; her grandchildren Ava and Dominic Goulette; her best friend Linda Guidetti of Springfield; several nieces and nephews as well as other family members, many friends, and her beloved four legged buddy, Charlie. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 17, 2019 at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave.
