Joy was her middle name, and it brought her great joy to do selfless things for others. Whether it be cooking a meal for others, knitting something special, crocheting gifts, creating beautiful unique needlepoint art, or buying something that she thought you would value, Marilyn loved to give. She enjoyed seeing and finding beauty in nature, others, or in art.

The backyard picture window, with its view of the wildlife, brought Bill and Marilyn great joy. “Joy is a net of love by which you can catch souls”. – Mother Teresa.
