Mario Alvarez Fernandez, 43, the husband of Narda Denis, passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Miriam Hospital from a battle with lung cancer, two days after his 43rd birthday. He was born in Jose Azueta, Vera Cruz, Mexico, a son of Teresa Fernandez Palmero and the late Ruben Alvarez Castro. Besides his wife he leaves a son Mario Alvarez Gonzalez and a daughter Danielle Alvarez Gonzalez both in Mexico and he also leaves a sister.

Calling Hours will be Monday evening, from 6 until 8 PM in the Coelho Funeral Home. His funeral and burial will be in Vera Cruz, Mexico.
