Mario Eduardo Herrera Jr. April 22, 1984 – April 27, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Upload Photo| View/Sign Guest Book| Send Sympathy Card Mario Eduardo Herrera Jr., was born in San Antonio, Texas, on April 22, 1984 to parents Sandra and Mario Eduardo Herrera. Mario Herrera Jr. went to be called with our Lord on April 27, 2019 at the age of 35. Mario Herrera Jr. is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Alfonso Herrera and Salvador Flores; great grandmother, Agatha Flores; and his great grandfather, Carlos Flores.

Mario Jr. is survived by his parents, father, Mario Eduard Herrera; mother, Sandra Herrera; brothers, Harley Herrera, Daniel Herrera, and Gilbert Herrera; grandparents Jorge and Maria F. Rivera, and Ofelia M. Herrera; nephew, Gilbert Elijah Herrera; niece Nora Jen Herrera; and numerous beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Mario Herrera Jr. was a very loving and outgoing person. Mario loved his mother and father very much, and was a devoted son to the both of them.

He loved cooking and BBQ’s, and jamming our with James. Some of his hobbies included fishing, bonfires, and tattoos. Mario was an aspiring artist that loved to paint and play music.

What made Mario a beloved person to many was the fact that he was always willing and enjoyed helping others. Whatever he did he always did it with a smile on his face and with a great sense of humor. Mario Eduardo Herrera Jr., will be deeply missed but his loving memory will forever be carried with all of those who knew him.

Please come and join the family of Mario Eduardo Herrera Jr., as we come together to cherish all the wonderful memories and pay tribute to a wonderful son, brother, grandson, and uncle he truly was. Services are as follows: Thursday – May 2, 2019 Visitation – 4:00pm – 9:00pm – Texas Funeral Home Chapel, 2702 Castroville Rd. , San Antonio, TX 78237, with a Rosary to be recited at 7pm.

Friday – May 3, 2019 Catholic Church Mass – 9:00am – St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church, 747 SW 39th St., San Antonio, TX 78237.
