MARIO J. DELNEGRO Age 99, formerly of Tinley Park, passed away Saturday, April 27th, 2019 at the Manteno Veterans Home in Manteno. Mario is survived by his loving family, wife, Marcella Delnegro (Loeb), children, Dennis (Pam) Delnegro, Janice (Greg) Fryklund, Michael (Joanne) Delnegro, Nancy (Tom) Winder, Annette (Don) Skafgaard, James (Theresa Rooney) Delnegro, grandchildren, Jonathan Delnegro, David Delnegro, Robert Delnegro, Jennifer Delnegro, Katie (Matt) Ostrowski, Sarah (Josh) Forsythe, Tommy Winder, Amy Winder, Stephanie Skafgaard, Kyle Delnegro, Matthew Rooney, Patrick Rooney, great grandchildren, Mason Lee, Landen Ostrowski, Joshua Forsythe, Jacob Forsythe and Luke Forsythe. Mario was preceded in death by his parents, Frank & Antonette Delnegro (Gentilie) and five siblings, Blaze, Frank, Mary, Ruth and Michaelina.

Mario was a United States Air Force Veteran and a longtime member of St. George Catholic Church in Tinley Park. Family will receive friends Wednesday, May 1st, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423. Funeral service, Thursday, May 2nd, 2019 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:15 AM and then to St. George Catholic Church, 6707 175th Street, Tinley Park IL 60477 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM.

Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Association or St. Coletta’s of Illinois would be appreciated. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Mario J. Delnegro please visit our Sympathy Store.
