Marion Caviness Edmonds, 89, 0f Mebane passed away Monday, April 29, 2019 at Duke University Medical Center. Marion was born in Alamance County to Macon Jackson and Ollie Councilman Caviness. She was of the Baptist faith.

Marion is survived by her children: Gail Fowler (Jerry), Janice Smith (David), Sylvia Neighbours, Mike Edmonds (Kathy), Kenny Edmonds (Debbie), Cindy Hornaday, Terry Baker (Burnis), David Edmonds (Michelle), Wendy Scott (Jeff), Marty Martin (Roy). 23 grandchildren, 39 Great Grandchildren, and 11 Great Great Grandchilden. Sister: Betty Lee May, Sister in law: Bettie Edwards.

Other than her parents Marion is preceded in death by her husband: Lewis Henry Edmonds. A funeral service is planned for Friday, May 3, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the McClure Funeral Home in Mebane. Officiating will be Rev.

Walter Jones. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at McClure Funeral Home in Mebane.
