Marion Lieblich Fraternale, wife of over fifty years to Ladd Fraternale, died on May 2, 2019. She was the proud daughter of Irene and Samuel Lieblich. Marion graduated from George W. Hewlett High School on Long Island and went on to study art at Bard College.

She later became the Vice President of Corporate Design at Macy’s New York before starting her own graphic design firm FAI Design Group, Inc. On December 16, 1967 she married Ladd and together they raised three daughters: Dina Kalish of Tarrytown, NY; Allison Schwartz of Irvington, NY; and Mara Walker of Bethesda, MD. In addition to her husband and daughters, Marion is survived by her two grandchildren, Ben Fraternale and Samantha Walker, and by her sons-in-law Joseph Schwartz and Simon Walker. As we say goodbye to Marion, we acknowledge the gift she had of making those around her feel special.

We especially want to mention Alex Schwartz Rudolph and Tracy Mertens Carr who were dear to her heart. A celebration of her life will be held at the Coffey Funeral Home, 91 North Broadway, Tarrytown, NY, on Saturday, May 4th, from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM, followed by gatherings at the family home at 28 Westwood Close, Irvington, NY, on Saturday May 4th from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM and Sunday, May 5th from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM.
