Obituary for Mrs. Marion Louise Thompson Thompson, Marion L. age 94, of Richfield, died April 12, 2018. Preceded in death by husband, Stanton C.; sister, Mitzi Hansen. Survived by children, Bonnie (Bruce) Nelson of Brunswick, OH, Scott (Nancy) and Brian (Julie) both of Eden Prairie; six grandchildren, Stacey (Shawn) Goertzen, Stephanie (Jeffrey) Endress, Carrie (Steve) Bell, David (Tanea), Ryan (Jena) and Anne (Matthew Just) Thompson; great-grandchildren, Kyla, Bryce, Madison, Joshua, Ethan, Carson, Reid, Charlie, Lukas; nieces, nephews and many friends.

Marion was born on November 28, 1923 in Mpls, MN and grew up in Minneapolis. Graduate of West High School. Long time employee of Dayton’s, Edina.

Member of Richfield Garden Club and Unity South Church. Marion enjoyed going up north with her family on Leech Lake. Passion for animals, gardening and entertaining people in her home.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will be deeply missed. Memorials preferred to NC Little Hospice, Edina. Private interment Lakewood Cemetery.

Memorial service 11 AM Thursday at Unity South Church, 7950 1st Ave. S., Bloomington. Visitation 4-8 PM Wednesday at: Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel 952-920-3996 West 50th St. & Hwy 100 Upcoming Events Chapel 2018 APR 18.
